Ghosts... We've grown accustomed to them when we're talking adventure PC games, but in some odd way, it's hard to get tired of these strange paranormal entities since they represent mystery and intrigue into the game. Spirit Seasons: Little Ghost Story is as the name suggests, a little story about a ghost and her reason for haunting a large run-down manor. But how little or how big does this game comes out in a review? Well, let's find out.

The game is all about Agatha, a young and very mischievous girl that died years before and is now haunting the large Blindhill Place manor. Strangely enough, the only living being inside the manor is the old butler named Jacob. Through your adventure, you'll learn that Jacob and Agatha has a very rough past. One that leads to death, and it's now your task to uncover the truth behind it all.

The game is entirely adventure coupled with hidden object game play. After your character experiences a car predicament, you'll soon be thrown into the mystery. Search for clues throughout the areas you are tasked to go to by finding possible inventory items on messy scenes. Be sure to try looking into some crevices and other containers as listed objects are most often found there. And after each hidden object scene, you're awarded with one inventory item for your use. Yippee!

There are two modes of play: Casual and Experienced mode. As you may have guessed, the two offers different levels of difficulty, but follows the same flow of story so replaying the game from Casual to Experienced can be quite easy. Other than the fact that you'll have much longer hint regeneration, less clues on hidden object games, and harder puzzles to solve. I suggest you go through Experienced already because the producers really leveled down Casual to the point that you can finish the whole game within two to three hours by using spam hints.

Spirit Seasons is as little as a ghost story goes. The story has twists all throughout but I honestly felt that the game is shorter than what I imagined it to take me finish. It does mean that I find it absolutely engaging though and maybe what contributed more to its shortness is that there's little backtracking involved throughout the adventure. Nevertheless, the game features two possible endings, meaning replay value for those of you who'll buy the game.

Graphics is good especially when you see the scary face of Jacob for the first time and got plunged further into the first few scenes of the manor. However, the scariness of the cerita seram office game seems to disappear after a few minutes of playing; maybe Agatha is just too cute and less scary in her full ghostly form. Anyway, sound is somewhat lacking in effects too, so if you try the game, don't prepare to be scared but do be prepared to get engaged as I'm sure you'll try to finish this game in one sitting.

Overall, Spirit Seasons: Little Ghost Story has a great storyline and good enough presentation. It's pretty short but still gives value to play for the avid adventure gamer. I really suggest this game is worth the try and create your own verdict afterward.
